2017 Donnafugata Lighea

This wine has a brilliant straw yellow color with greenish reflections. The nose offers a rich and fragrant bouquet with classic notes of orange blossom combined with citrusy scents (citron, bergamot) and nuances of Mediterranean scrub. The nose is perfectly reflected on the palate, enlivened by a fresh mineral vein. Recommended for all types of oily fish, baked pasta in white sauce, fried fish.

2019 JaM Cellars Butter Chardonnay

Butter Chardonnay is rich, bold, and luscious. Made in the tradition of quality Californian winemaking, the grapes selected are juicy, ripe, and bursting with flavor. The wine is cold fermented to a lush creaminess and aged in a unique blend of oak. Butter brims with stone fruit and baked lemon notes and has a lovely, long, vanilla finish. 2018 Hedges C.M.S.

Black cherry, raspberry, warm mulling spices with a bit of cocoa, vanilla, and anise. The palate is very soft up front, has a nice creamy center and while it does pack a slight punch, it lingers into a finessed finish. Flavors of chocolate, sarsaparilla, raspberry candy, clove and cinnamon, this wine is delicious, well rounded, and sure to be a crowd pleaser. 91 Points from James Suckling
