2019 Barton & Guestier Vouvray Les Petites Parcelles

Barton & Guestier's Les Petites Parcelles Vouvray 2019 is a vegan-friendly 100% Chenin Blanc grown on sandy, clay-limestone soils along the Loire River. Fragrant with honeyed pear and lemon zest aromas on the nose, juicy and mouth filling with ripe apple, pear, honeyed melon and soft spicy flavors on the palate. Serve with sweet and sour tofu or pork ribs.

2020 Barton & Guestier Rose d’Anjou

Intense salmon-pink. Seductive nose dominated by raspberry, cherry and red currant aromas. Soft and smooth on the palate developing aromas of small red berries. Drink as an aperitif, or with salads, sushi.

2016 Chateau Magnol Bordeaux

Deep and brilliant cherry red with violet highlights.  Expressive, rich and complex nose mixing black berries (blackcurrant, black cherry) and well balanced spicy and minty notes. Harmonious, well balanced full, fine and elegant with ripe tannins. The aftertaste is rich and aromatic (fruity, spicy with a hint of vanilla and tobacco notes). Perfect with red meat (especially lamb), duck breast and all fine cheese. Try with Pyrenees cheese, black cherry jam and walnut bread. 91 Points from James Suckling: “Some very attractive and intense dark berries with cassis, together with a wealth of nicely arranged, spicy oak and subtle, earthy nuances. The palate has a well placed, red-fruit core with a smooth bed of fine, ripe and silky tannins. Poise and charm here. Try from 2022.”

Sparkling

Veuve Du Vernay Ice Rose

Veuve Du Vernay Ice Rose is a beautiful, light pink wine with numerous, fine, sparkling bubbles. On the nose, it is fruity with prominent notes of wild berries. Ice Rose is well-balanced, full-bodied with good fruit and a fine acidic aftertaste which gives a lovely freshness. Serve this well-chilled, or with ice cubes.
