2019 Darling Cellars Chenin Blanc

A fruit forward wine with intriguing notes of melon, fruit salad, peaches, white pear and guava on your nose that follow through on your mid palate. Well structured mid palate with a fresh citrus lingering aftertaste covered by pineapple and lemony undertones. Enjoy with light fruit salad or sushi!

2018 Darling Cellars Chocoholic Pinotage

Pinotage is the second most widely planted grape in South Africa. And although it’s a hybrid of Cinsault and Pinot Noir grapes, it doesn’t bear much resemblance to either. It does have some of the earthiness you associate with Pinot Noir, but it’s much heavier in body and darker in color. This one starts off with tobacco smokiness and black cherry flavors. And yes, there’s a hint of chocolate in there too.

2019 Ridgeback Lion Head Red Blend

The Ridgeback winery is located on the northern slopes of the Paarl Mountains, this corner of Paarl offers excellent conditions for the vineyards and gives the Rigdeback and Vansha wines their distinctive characteristic flavors. In addition, the site is full of 'fynbos' that provides an ideal surface and drainage. The wines reflect the character of the Rhodesian Ridgeback dog, the figurehead of the brand. This dog is originally from South Africa and was used by the early pioneers for lion hunting. The Ridgeback wines are just like the dogs; powerful, special and exclusive. An intense, juicy red mix of dark cherries, plums and laurel. Fragrance notes of cigars and wood. The creamy mild pallet evolves into a long and savory aftertaste.
